Deepti masquerades as a simple country girl when his would-be
father-in-law comes to “see” her. Utpal Dutt is
floored by Deepti’s quick answers to his intricate questions,
courtesy Saeed Jaffery, who had prepared her for the encounter
Farooque and Deepti are happily married with Deepti living under
the constant fear of blurting out a couple of English sentences,
but she manages to go through the ordeal.

Farooque Sheikh as Ramesh and Deepti Naval as Ramola
are natural, react wonderfully look throughout the film with
uncanny ease. Deepti has a more difficult role but she proves
able to the task and comes out a winner in the light as well
as serious and emotion-filled moments of the narrative.

Kisise Na Kehna was in the recent Hrishikesh trend, but his
good-natured laugh at both generations had an extra sparkle
in it.
Not to speak of Deepti’s delightful performance.
