STORY
The film is based on the real story of a village woman in Rajasthan Bhavri Devi who fought a case of gang rape against the feudal lords of the village who tried to ‘teach her a lesson’ because she demonstrated against ‘child marriages’ in her village. Due to their political clout, they won the case against but Bhavri Devi is still fighting her battle, supported by her husband and a couple of social workers.
