STORY
The film opens with a marriage scene when the marriage rituals
were about to begin, Deen Dayal and his father demand a fabulous
dowry from Dharam Das whose sister Deen Dayal was to marry. All
the pleadings of helplessness fail and Deen Dayal walks out of
the pandaal without marrying her. The bride to be commits suicide.
Twenty-five years later, similar situation arises when the daughter
of Deen Dayal is to be married to the son of Dharam Das. Though
Dharam Das has become rich and Deen Dayal poor, Dharam Das insists
on huge amounts of dowry to teach a lesson. A misunderstanding
between the boy and the girl is created so that they hate each
other.
Though the first half is effectively done in building of romance,
the second half becomes loud with incredible going on of the vendetta
drama. |
