STORY
The film is a satire on the legal system. Mohan Joshi is an old man living in a chawl. Enraged at the dilapidated state of his home, he files a suit against his landlord for failing to have the chawl repaired. But Joshi is unaware of what he has let himself in for. As he case drags on for months he gets increasingly frustrated. During his endless visits to the court, Mohan Joshi comes across various self seeking and unscrupulous characters, conniving lawyers, vacillating judges, corrupt witnesses and formidable land sharks. His road to justice is paved with complicated and lengthy procedure
