CRICKETER is very much a commercial film, but a sensible and credible one, a family entertainer with freshness a neat and clean film. Essentially, this film is a story of love, sin and forgiveness and the characters in it have come alive because of good scripting and excellent performances, especially on the art of Saeed Jaffrey, Marc Zuber, Deepti Naval, Sneh Gupta and Gurdial Sira.

CRICKETER is a sensitive and deeply emotional film well paced, with good music (a melodious combination of the West and the Indian) and good visuals. A film with technical polish.
All in all, an unusual and enjoyable film.
