STORY
A poignant story of young lovers (Rishi Kapoor and Padmini Kolhapuri) who are unfortunately torn apart by destiny. Another girl (Deepti Naval) enters into the young man's life, wowing to love him but despite great resistance from his side he is forced to marry this girl on the insistence of his mother. How he learns to love his wife and forget about his past is the journey of this film, moving towards the climax which reveals the unusual sacrifices both the women have made for him.
